Program Objectives:

This program is designed for men and women with or without keyboarding skills or previous computer training. The objective of the program is to provide the graduate with front office procedures using knowledge of record keeping, phone triage, typing, and computer applications commonly found in the computerized workforce. Additionally, the graduate will be prepared for filling technical jobs in the computer industry. A certificate of completion will be awarded each student upon completing a course or the program.

Program Outline:

bullet8 week/Session/Course equaling 32 Clock Hours     
bulletClasses: Monday & Thursday 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
bulletLecture Time: 30 Minutes
bulletLab Time:   90 Minutes
bulletTotal Clock Hours 224 Hrs. for the sessions
The WIA  (Workforce Investment Act) is a grant that will sponser all of the courses for Oakland Park of Technology. The Union Education Trust is a grant that will pay for the State workers all the Office Website and Accounting classes plus all eight hours classes.
